First Aid

The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to enable first aid to be given to employees if they are injured or become ill at work. These Regulations apply to all workplaces including those with five or fewer employees and to the self-employed.

Our First Aid courses, developed and taught in accordance with both the UK and European Resuscitation guidelines, are designed to help employers meet their obligations as required by those regulations.

Heart specialist Dr Christopher Duke said Sophie 'would have survived' if she had received continuous CPR. He said 'You don't stop resuscitation just because a patient appears to be breathing. You only stop if there's breathing and a pulse.'
